Booking daily supply cover

You can use the Add a job page to quickly request and resolve a need for daily supply work as well as creating long-term supply jobs (3 weeks or more). In this guide we will only be going through booking daily supply teachers, but if you would like to find out how you can book a long-term supply job: click here.

What happens when you book a job on the Opogo Webapp?
Once you created a daily supply booking, our consultants will be notified and a job offer will be sent to the Members you’ve invited – they will receive a notification to either accept or decline your job offer. Find out more

Let’s get started

Step 1: Once you login to the Opogo WebApp you will land on the ‘Add a job’ screen. Simply click the green button in the top left corner, ‘Book daily supply cover’.

Step 2: You will be redirected to a new screen where you can choose your booking requirements as well as set the duration of this new job. You can also add specific requirements like special educational needs, age groups, subjects, and skills depending on the job role. In this example, we are creating a Primary Teacher job for 1 day on Thursday, 5 December 2019. Our location is set to our default location: “London”, but this will be set to your school’s default meeting point for the Member (this is useful when you have more than one location).

Step 3: Once you have added your job requirements, the WebApp will automatically start searching for Members who are available and those who aren’t.

We automatically select your available Talent Pool Members so that you can quickly send an invitation to the selected Members. You can also invite Members from the ‘Recommended’ & ‘All Members’ tab.

Once you click ‘Confirm & send’ the selected Members will be notified via their Opogo Mobile App where they can view the job details and either accept or decline your offer.

Our team of friendly consultants are always helping in the background, so if you have any problems do give us a call or send us a message via the Webapp.

Note: We display both available and unavailable Members just in case you are trying to find specific Members for a job.

FUN FACT: The record time for this entire process is currently one minute! That included a school job booker creating a job on the Opogo WebApp and then our Member accepting their job offer.

Happy booking! If you are still unsure on how to book from the Opogo Webapp or if you want help, please get in touch with one of our consultants.
