This Good Secondary School based in the borough of Barking and Dagenham are currently looking to recruit a qualified Art Teacher from September 2019. This school is very focused on achieving success. The Senior Leadership Team together with their large teaching and support staff are always looking at innovative ways of enabling their students to secure their very best achievement. They have introduced an innovative curriculum that allows their students to achieve their personal targets. You will be very well supported by a Senior Leadership Team who lead from the front and guide and develop their staff to become outstanding educators.
Graded Good in their most recent Ofsted it was stated that ‘The Headteacher and his team have successfully raised standards across the school. Leaders have successfully embedded the new systems and procedures put in place and this in term means that pupils make good progress in a safe, welcoming and productive learning environment.’

They work hard to provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities that students of all abilities can participate in, including visiting Artists/Designers, workshops, galleries and holding school exhibitions. The large Art Department work very closely with department across the school in order to provide their students with consistent learning and development throughout.
To be considered for this Art position, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PGCE in Art
- Experience of teaching Art KS3 – KS4
- The desire to become part of a fantastic and supportive team
