Graduate Teaching Assistant
As well as joining a very successful school, you will also become part of a fantastic department. You will be working alongside a very supportive team who work very hard to ensure that each and every student is encouraged to reach their individual potential. You will be required to provide support, at an outstanding level, for pupils, teachers and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils. You will be working with a group of children across all subject areas, focusing specifically on literacy and numeracy. You will have the opportunity work very closely with the SENCO and class teachers to ensure that all children are given the required support to ensure they are reaching their individual goals. This is a great opportunity to begin your career within education at an academy that is able to provide teacher training following a successful year as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The Academy are looking for a number of Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their team from September. They would require you to be able to commit for the full academic year.
The right applicant will:
- Be Degree qualified
- Be keen to go on to complete your teaching qualification
- Have a passion for helping young people excel
- Have experience working with secondary school aged students (Preferable)
