Job description

A 2018/19 Graduate with a 2:1 or higher is required at a beautiful school in Lambeth to work with Years 2 and 6 on a full-time basis from September. More details

Graduates who are specialised in either Math or English are encouraged to apply as the role involves working 1-1 and with small groups on literacy and numeracy interventions on a daily basis. Previous school-based experience isn’t essential however applicants must be passionate about education and have strong written and numerical skills.

Graduates who hold a degree with a 2:1 or higher in either English or Math are strongly encouraged to apply and the interview may involve sitting the Year 6 SATS paper. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to kick start their career in education. This is a full-time, one year contract to commence at the beginning of September. A handover/transition period may be required during July.

This is one of the most popular, oversubscribed schools in the borough. Rated ‘outstanding’ the school boasts excellence across teaching and learning in addition to the genuine commitment staff have to the students’ growth and development. Located within walking distance of Waterloo and other South London stations, the school is in easy reach of most parts of London. This is a one-form entry so positions at the school are very rare.
