This secondary school is a flourishing and oversubscribed comprehensive school based in the London borough of Greenwich. The school has over 1900 pupils on roll including over 500 in their popular sixth form. They are one of the leading teaching schools in the London borough of Greenwich and have links to a number of popular universities in South East London.

Graduate Teaching Assistant
The school is looking for a number of passionate and resilient Teaching Assistant to start in September 2019. This role is a great stepping stone for a recent graduate who is looking to gain more school based experience before going on to complete a teaching qualification. The role will be helping to coach and develop low ability children who are currently struggling in specific subjects and help them to raise attainment through 1:1 support. The school are currently recruiting for support within the following departments; English, Maths, Science, Design Technology and Performing Arts.

Experience/ Skills needed:

  • A degree within Science, Maths, English, DT or Performing Arts
  • Experience working with secondary aged pupils
  • Passionate, resilience and self-motivated
