Teaching Assistant with BSL
An Outstanding Catholic School located in the London Borough of Westminster is looking to secure a Teaching Assistant who has experience using British Sign Language (BSL). The role will start in immediately and will be for the remainder of the academic year.
Learning Support Assistant– British Sign Language (BSL)
This mainstream secondary school have a specialist Dead Unit within the school and are looking for an experienced LSA to join the already strong team. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be working across the unit to support pupils who are non-verbal. The role will be 5 days a week and continue until July 2019 in the first instance but has the potential to be made permanent for a stand out candidate.
·Certified in British Sign language (BSL) level 2 or above
·Confident communicating with parents and carers
·Able to relay BSL from hearing-impaired students to non-signing students or adults.
·Excellent strategic & communication skills
