This good school are currently looking to recruit a pool of local EAL Exam Invigilators to work alongside their permanent team on an ad-hoc basis. You will be required to support the Head Invigilator/Examinations Team with the day to day running of examination rooms. The exam period starts through the summer term so availability from mid-April – July is required.
The main duties of an EAL Exam Invigilator are:
·To assist EAL students who are completing GCSE and A-Level examinations
·Ensuring that examination rooms are set up correctly by laying out equipment, stationary and examination papers as per the outlined procedures
·To ensure that students are directed to their seats in a timely manner, and are aware of possessions permitted in the examinations with them
·To invigilate throughout the examinations, dealing with any queries raised by students and dealing with any irregularities in accordance with the school’s policies and procedures
·To collect and collate examination papers at the end of the examination in accordance with the school’s procedures
