SEN Teaching Assistant KS1

This is a 1 to 1 SEN Teaching Assistant role supporting an Autistic child in Reception class at an extremely supportive and collaborative Primary School in Hammersmith and Fulham.

This excellent Primary School is located within lovely, open grounds in Central/West London. This is a 1:1 role working with an Autistic child in Reception class who has recently joined the school this term. The role involves pastoral care and general learning support, both in and outside of the classroom, as required. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working as an Early Years TA or Nursery Nurse and experience supporting children with Autism is highly desirable. Exposure to PECS and/or MAKATON will also come highly regarded and valuable however this is not a requirement.  This is a full-time long term role starting immediately. This is an exciting role for an experienced Early Years Practitioner/EYFS TA to work in a vibrant school on a part-time or permanent basis. The Head of Early Years is looking for someone to join the team on an initial 4 weeks basis covering up to 4 days per week.
