The Role:
A permanent vacancy for an experienced Year 6 Teacher has arisen at one of North London’s most popular academies. Given the school’s size, there is scope to take on a TLR opportunity as either Subject or Year Group Lead. A demonstrable background in raising student attainment in the core subject areas is an essential requirement for this position. Work and student samples will be required to present at the interview.
This role would suit a motivated and creative teacher who is empathetic to the culture and ethos of the school. Proficiency with differentiating work for EAL and SEND students is essential. All classes at the school have a dedicated TA.

They are currently seeking an experienced Teacher to join them from September. You will be teaching a small group of 12 Year 5/6 students – all with ECHPs with a primary need of Speech, Language and Communication Needs. The school would prefer someone with SEND experience for this role but would consider a mainstream teacher with a strong interest in SEND looking to move into the sector. The classes cover the same topics as their mainstream peers so all trips, assemblies and outside visitors are shared. Makaton signing is used to support new vocabulary, therefore previous experience and/or training would be highly regarded, however not essential.
