Primary PPA Teacher

A Primary PPA and Intervention Teacher is required on a full-time basis at an outstanding school in Lambeth/Waterloo.

This is one of the most popular, oversubscribed schools in the borough. A full-time PPA and Intervention teacher is required from the 23rd April for the duration of the summer term.

The role is about 70% PPA and the remainder will be intervention work predominantly with pupils in KS2 and Year 6 students in the lead up to SATS. During these interventions, you will work closely with low and high-set learners and be responsible for scaffolding their learning as they access more complex parts of the National Curriculum.

The PPA aspect will involve covering classes from Reception to Year 6 (no Nursery) so applicants must be comfortable and flexible working across the different phases.

A part-time handover period will be offered from the 25th March on either a 3 day per week or 5 day per week basis.

Applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service and at least one school-based reference.

    EYFS & PPA Teacher

    This is a unique role which will involve a mix of Early Years (Nursery and Reception) teaching in the mornings and then PPA cover up to Year 3 in the afternoons.     An outstanding primary trained teacher with QTS/PGCE equivalent is required on a short-term basis at a top preparatory school in North London. You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of math lessons to the two Year 4 classes in addition to the other subjects as stipulated by the school’s curriculum.

    Previous experience teaching Year 4/Upper Key Stage 2 in the UK is essential and the ideal candidate will have taught in a similar school setting.
