This large Secondary School based in the borough of Redbridge are looking to recruit either an experienced or Newly Qualified Geography Teacher (NQT) from September. With over 10 staff covering History, Geography and Religious Studies, you will be amongst a great team of people with varied experience. The Humanities Teachers within this school chose to become teachers with the aim of helping their students see the world for all its possibilities and have the tools to succeed. After-school booster sessions are held regularly for GCSE and A-Level classes, as well as extra-curricular activities to keep KS3 students engaged in their learning. There are also a number of trips that take place throughout the year to various museums, as well as trips overseas. The role is to start in September 2019 and will be offered on a temp – perm basis. To be considered for this Geography role you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PGCE in Geography
- Experience of teaching Geography KS3 – KS5
- The desire to become part of a fantastic and supportive team
- Delivered good/outstanding lessons
