Science (Biology) Teacher
This is an opportunity for you to join a supportive, hardworking and friendly Science faculty where you will be encouraged to continue your own professional development. You will be joining a team of 10, with varied experience and specialisms. The Science department work closely together to encourage students to develop an interest in and enjoyment of Science. They want to help students to understand and appreciate the importance and limitations of Science. They want to encourage a problem solving approach to scientific enquiry including the ability to apply scientific knowledge to unfamiliar situations.
The Science department are looking for a Biology Teacher to join their team who shares the same desire to succeed. The role is to start in September and will be for the full academic in the first instance.
To be considered for this Science (Biology) role you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PGCE in Biology
- Experience of teaching Biology KS3 – KS5
- The desire to become part of a fantastic and supportive team
- Delivered good/outstanding lessons
